They were working together at a local restaurant at the time. After deciding on the type of food, décor, music, and writing a business plan they started looking for an investor. Bob Strider is a custom home builder and had built Dan’s house. The relationship they formed caused Dan to ask Bob if he would be interested in investing in the project. He came on board and brought with him working capital as well as construction knowledge that was invaluable to the completion of the project.
